So up until a couple moments ago I considered doing would be something of a Dame Darcy Creation for Halloween…that is, dress up in silky, lacy fabrics with a juxtaposition of feminine and ghoulish embellishments. Perhaps, be a living piece of her art and make up a faux-frame to carry along. I love her after all.

However, we’re going to Chicago for Halloween this year && I was thinking about all the costumes that will appear high in numbers this year there (there were tons of Sarah Palins last year-all in jest of course-but it was still gross-a-rama) and it occured to me that Michael Jackson would probably turn out in high numbers. So I thought about it and decided…who better to be than Jarvis Cocker 1996-style. British Music Awards, anyone?

As a proper Jarvis, this means I need to pick up a blazer, some drain-pipe trousers, and some sweet neon accessories. So excited.
