Wow a cute, reasonably-priced vintage shop…and everything’s in perfect condition! There are definitely some finds here. Etsy has ‘handpicked’ several items from this small shop to display on the opening page, and so this account has been unknowingly visited by me many times the past couple days. Since I like it so much, I wanted to share it with you!

Etsy has really transformed the whole vintage-sell market. Louisville’s so-called vintage shops are super costly and/or do not always contain real vintage (f21/target rejects anyone?) I mean, that used shirt you are looking at is pretty awesome, dear, but is it 25 dollars awesome? That’s a typical problem of living in even a mid-sized city…it’s harder and harder to find good quality used-clothing that doesnt eat your pockets. Living in Chicago, I had to really dig for the great deals. It always seemed easier to find the goods on the edge of the city than in the metro-area, and many of the shops that were close to home seemed dirty, crowded, and picked-over.

But as etsy becomes more and more popular, the vintage choices become better and better. Shop owners naturally compete with each other, and if a certain item is a wee high, you can probably find many other options just like it. Just type it into the search engine.

You gotta love it.

And you’re going to love this:

the wimbledon scooter mini dress, size medium

the autumn foliage sweater, size small-medium (s m)

(omg favorite sweater alert!)

the rust kiltie heels, size 7 B

the love and haight angel sleeve blouse, size small

the back-to-school plaid jumper mini dress, size small-medium (s-m)
