“The first nine entries in this years Room for Color Contest were posted today.”

My favorite of the lot has to be Traci’s Pastel Pop Living Room. Usually I’m drawn to the really vibrant orange and pink rooms, but I love the more subdued use of color in this beautiful Virginia home.

Traci says that her color inspiration for this room was “a CD case from Target. I am a big fan of clean, modern design. I tend to go for more muted tones, however I fell in love with the colorful, overlapping square wall design and planned the room around those colors.”
